Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Jagex. It is based on the version of RuneScape that existed in August 2007, restored and relaunched following a community poll in 2013. The game features a vast open world set in the medieval fantasy realm of Gielinor, where players train skills, complete quests, and engage with other players.
With over 23 skills ranging from combat disciplines like Attack, Strength, and Magic to non-combat skills like Fishing, Woodcutting, and Crafting, OSRS offers deep progression systems. The game is known for its player-driven economy, challenging end-game content including raids such as the Chambers of Xeric and Theatre of Blood, and its highly competitive Wilderness PvP zone.
Old School RuneScape is available on PC via browser and the official client, as well as iOS and Android, with full cross-platform play. It operates on a free-to-play model with an optional members subscription that unlocks the majority of content.
