How Buyer Protection Works

PlayerBay Buyer Protection helps keep purchases safe by making sure buyers receive what they paid for, or get support if something goes wrong.

When you buy on PlayerBay, your payment is protected throughout the order process. Sellers do not receive the funds immediately. Instead, PlayerBay holds the payment until the order is delivered and the transaction is completed.

How Buyer Protection Works

Buyer Protection is designed to protect you from sellers who do not deliver, deliver the wrong product, or provide something that does not match the original listing.

Automatic Refunds for Overdue Orders

PlayerBay gives buyers more control when an order is not delivered on time. If the seller misses the guaranteed delivery timer, the buyer may be able to request a full refund automatically without waiting for a manual support review.

When eligible, the refund can be returned to your PlayerBay wallet balance or sent back to your original card payment method.

More Control for Buyers and Sellers

PlayerBay is designed to let buyers and sellers resolve many order issues directly. Buyers can contact the seller, review delivery status, request help, raise a dispute, or claim an eligible overdue refund from the order page.

Sellers also have the opportunity to respond, provide proof of delivery, fix the issue, offer a replacement, or work with the buyer before the Dispute Team makes a final decision.

What Buyer Protection Covers

Buyer Protection covers common order issues where the seller does not fulfill the order as promised.

  • The seller does not deliver the order.
  • The guaranteed delivery timer is overdue.
  • The product received is different from the listing description.
  • The delivered item, account, currency, top-up, or service is incomplete.
  • The account details provided are incorrect or do not work.
  • The seller becomes unresponsive after the delivery window has passed.

What Happens During a Dispute

If an issue cannot be resolved directly with the seller, you may be able to raise a dispute from your order page. When a dispute is opened, PlayerBay freezes the payment while the issue is reviewed.

The Dispute Team reviews the order details, listing description, order chat, delivery proof, screenshots, and any evidence provided by both the buyer and seller.
