About Apex Legends
Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale hero shooter developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Set in the Titanfall universe, it drops squads of two or three players onto an ever-shrinking map where they compete to be the last team standing.
The game distinguishes itself through its roster of "Legends" — characters with unique abilities that encourage tactical team composition and cooperation. Players select a Legend before each match, combining offensive, defensive, and support skills to gain an edge in combat.
Apex Legends is known for its fluid movement system, including sliding, climbing, and a ping communication system that set a new standard for team coordination in the genre. The game receives regular seasonal updates that introduce new Legends, weapons, maps, and limited-time modes.
