ARK: Survival Ascended

ARK: Survival Ascended is a full remake of ARK: Survival Evolved, rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 by Studio Wildcard. It retains the core survival formula of the original while delivering a dramatic visual overhaul with ray tracing, enhanced weather effects, and reworked creature animations.\n\nPlayers are stranded on a mysterious island teeming with prehistoric and fantastical creatures, forced to gather resources, craft tools, build bases, and tame dinosaurs to survive. The game blends survival, crafting, and creature-taming mechanics across a massive open world, with both solo and multiplayer server options.\n\nThe remake launched in Early Access in late 2023 and includes all maps and content from the original ARK: Survival Evolved, progressively updated. It supports modding via the integrated mod platform, allowing community-created maps and content. Taming, breeding, and riding hundreds of unique creatures remains central to progression.
