Diablo II: Resurrected is a remastered version of Blizzard Entertainment's classic 2000 action RPG, Diablo II. The remaster was developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Blizzard Entertainment, featuring fully reworked 3D graphics while preserving the original gameplay, balance, and even the original 2D engine running underneath.
Players choose from seven character classes — Amazon, Necromancer, Barbarian, Sorceress, Paladin, Druid, and Assassin — and battle through five acts across the dark fantasy world of Sanctuary. The core loop revolves around slaughtering hordes of demons, collecting loot, and building powerful character builds around items and skill trees.
Diablo II: Resurrected supports cross-progression across PC and consoles, and retains the original online multiplayer functionality via Battle.net. It includes the Lord of Destruction expansion content, adding the Druid and Assassin classes as well as the fifth act set in the Barbarian Highlands.
