It is an open-world cops-and-robbers game where players choose to be either a criminal attempting to escape from prison and rob banks and trains, or a police officer trying to arrest them.\n\nAs a criminal, players must break out of jail, team up with others, steal vehicles, and pull off heists at various locations across the map. Police players pursue criminals in patrol cars, helicopters, and other law enforcement vehicles, aiming to arrest them and return them to prison.\n\nThe game features a large open world with a variety of vehicles ranging from basic cars to sports cars, military vehicles, and aircraft. Players earn in-game cash from successful heists or arrests, which can be spent on new vehicles, cosmetics, and upgrades. Regular seasonal updates introduce new content, limited-time events, and map changes.\n\nJailbreak has accumulated billions of visits and remains a top-tier Roblox title nearly a decade after its launch in April 2017.
