Two teams of five players each compete to destroy the opposing team's Nexus, a core structure located in their base, by navigating three lanes and a surrounding jungle across a symmetrical map called Summoner's Rift.\n\nPlayers choose from a roster of over 160 playable characters called Champions, each with unique abilities and playstyles spanning roles such as tank, mage, marksman, assassin, and support.
