New World

New World: Aeternum is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the fictional supernatural island of Aeternum, inspired by the Age of Exploration. Players arrive as shipwrecked colonists and must survive against corrupted creatures, rival factions, and the island's mysterious energy known as Azoth.\n\nGameplay combines open-world exploration, crafting, territory control, and both PvE and PvP combat using real-time action mechanics. Players can join one of three factions — Marauders, Syndicate, or Covenant — to contest settlements and fortresses across the map.\n\nOriginally launched as a PC-exclusive in September 2021, the game was later expanded and rebranded as New World: Aeternum, releasing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in October 2024 alongside a revamped PC version with additional content and quality-of-life improvements.
