Before listing accounts on PlayerBay, make sure you understand the rules below. Account sellers are responsible for providing accurate listings, full access, safe delivery, and support if an issue occurs after purchase.
Breaking these rules may result in listing removal, order cancellation, refunds, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, or loss of selling privileges.

Account Listing Rules
Account listings must be accurate, informative, and easy for buyers to understand. Buyers should know exactly what they are purchasing before placing an order.
| Rule | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Keep Listings Accurate | Descriptions must clearly explain the account’s features, delivery details, limitations, rank, progress, inventory, linked platforms, and anything else the buyer needs to know. |
| No Misleading Titles or Descriptions | Do not use false claims, exaggerations, irrelevant content, or deceptive phrases such as “Lifetime Warranty.” Do not label an account as full access unless it truly is. |
| Disclose Account Limitations | If the account has restrictions, region locks, purchase limitations, platform limitations, bans, mutes, or other issues, they must be clearly stated in the description. |
| No Listing Manipulation | Do not attempt to manipulate rankings, search visibility, tags, pricing, or listing placement in a way that misleads buyers or abuses the marketplace. |
For tag and search visibility rules, also review PlayerBay’s tag rules for listings.
General Account Sale Rules
All account sales must provide full, transferable access to the buyer. Sellers remain responsible for the accounts they sell and must not interfere with sold accounts after delivery.
| Rule | Seller Requirement |
|---|---|
| Full Access Only | Shared, rented, offline, NFA, or partial-access accounts are not allowed. You must provide full access, including account login, email access, and any relevant credentials or recovery details. |
| Buyer Protection Period | Every account sale includes a buyer protection period, usually between 5 and 14 days. If the account stops working, is banned, or is recovered during this period, the sale may be cancelled and refunded. |
| Seller Liability After Protection | Sellers may still be held responsible after the buyer protection period if the account is recovered, access is lost, or the seller is found at fault. |
| Zero Tolerance for Recovery | Recovering, reclaiming, or interfering with a sold account is a permanent suspension offense. |
| Seller Responsibility | Reselling accounts is allowed, but you are still responsible for issues that occur with accounts you sell. |
| No Access After Sale | After an account is sold, do not log in, recover, modify, or use the account or any related credentials unless the buyer specifically asks for help. |
| Buyer-Favored Dispute Outcome | If a dispute is resolved in the buyer’s favor, the seller may recover and secure the account where possible. |
| No Stolen or Hacked Accounts | Accounts obtained through hacking, theft, fraud, recovery abuse, or any illegal method are strictly forbidden. |
| Instant Delivery Accuracy | If using Instant Delivery, the account details must be correct, complete, and available at the time the listing is created. |
PlayerBay only permits the sale of full-access accounts. The buyer must receive everything needed to access, manage, and secure the account after purchase.
Email Provider Requirements
We strongly recommend using recognized email providers for listed accounts. Lesser-known or unreliable email providers may increase the risk of cancellation during a dispute if the buyer cannot access or verify the account properly.
| Email Provider Type | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Recommended Providers | Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, Ymail, AOL, and ProtonMail. |
| Other Providers | If using a different provider, you must give the buyer a direct link to the login page. |
| Security Requirements | The email domain must be secure, accessible, and usable by the buyer. |
| Language Support | The email provider should support English or be easy for the buyer to navigate. |
Game-Specific Account Rules
Some games require extra listing details because platform access, account linking, rank, bans, recovery information, or version differences can affect the buyer’s ability to use the account.
| Game | Listing Requirements |
|---|---|
| Fortnite | Clearly state which platforms the account can be linked to, such as Xbox, PlayStation, PC, or other supported platforms. By listing a platform, you are guaranteeing the buyer can use the account there. If the email cannot be changed immediately, state this clearly and provide full access to the linked email. Sellers should also warn buyers about account safety risks, such as contacting Epic Games support. |
| Valorant | List the account in the correct rank category using the current season’s rank. Accounts leveled or modified using cheats, exploits, or illegal software are not allowed. |
| GTA 5 | Specify the platform, such as Epic Games, Rockstar, PlayStation, Xbox, or PC. Also specify the game version, such as Enhanced or Legacy. FiveM accounts are allowed as long as the listing clearly states that GTA V is required to play. |
| OSRS and RS3 | Provide all available recovery information to the buyer, including recovery questions, original email, old passwords, and membership payment methods where applicable. Disclose bans, offenses, botting history, mutes, or other account issues in the description. |
| Call of Duty | State which Call of Duty title or version the account is for and which platforms can be linked. Unlink unnecessary login methods where possible and provide full access to all remaining linked logins. |
| League of Legends | List the account in the correct rank category using the current season’s rank. Disclose any offenses, penalties, restrictions, or chat limitations. Accounts with offensive or inappropriate usernames cannot be sold and may be cancelled. |
Account Recovery and Post-Sale Access
Sellers must never recover, reclaim, access, modify, or interfere with an account after it has been sold unless the buyer specifically requests help. This rule applies even if the buyer protection period has ended.
If a buyer reports an account recovery or access issue, sellers are expected to cooperate and help resolve the problem. Refusing to assist may result in cancellation, refund, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
All listings must represent authentic, privately used accounts that reflect normal in-game progression. Stolen, hacked, illegally obtained, botted, recovered, or manipulated accounts are not allowed.
The Bottom Line
Account sellers must provide accurate listings, full access, clear transfer details, and reliable post-sale support. If a listing has limitations, risks, platform restrictions, penalties, or transfer requirements, those details must be disclosed before purchase.
Following these rules helps protect buyers, reduce disputes, and keep PlayerBay’s account marketplace safe and trustworthy.
