Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 is an open-world racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, released on May 19, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Set across a sweeping recreation of Japan, the map spans 10 distinct regions including Tokyo, Mount Fuji, bamboo forests, and historic temples — offering over 700 roads and a visually diverse landscape to explore.

The game features a roster of more than 550 vehicles at launch, spanning road racing, dirt, cross-country, and drift disciplines. New Horizon Rush showcase events deliver dramatic set-piece races in iconic Japanese locations, while returning PR Stunts like Speed Traps, Drift Zones, and Speed Zones provide familiar open-world challenges. A new Day Tour story mode and a guided Discover Japan exploration system give players structured goals across the enormous map.

A PlayStation 5 version is planned for a later 2026 release. The game is available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at launch.
