Ways to sign in
Sign in with an email code, a password, a passkey, or your Google, Discord, Facebook or Steam account. Connect them in Settings.
Your options
| Method | How it works |

| Email code | Enter your email under Sign in or create an account and we send you a 6-digit code. If you’re new, the same code creates your account. |
| Password | Select Use a password instead. You can add a password later in Settings if you started without one. |
| Passkey | Sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN. Add one in Settings under Security. |
| Google, Discord, Facebook, Steam | Select Sign in with Google (or Discord, Facebook, Steam) and approve PlayerBay on that site. |
The sign-in page marks the method you used last with Last used.
Connect a social login to your account
- Sign in to PlayerBay.
- Go to Settings and open the Connections tab.
- Under Connected Accounts, select Connect next to Google, Discord, Facebook or Steam.
- Approve PlayerBay in the window that opens.
Google, Discord and Facebook connect only when that account uses the same email address as your PlayerBay account.
If your email already has a PlayerBay account
If you sign in with Google, Discord or Facebook and an account with that email already exists, you can see This email already has a PlayerBay account. This stops someone else from attaching their login to an account they don’t own.
- Select Sign in to connect and sign in with that account’s password, or with a code from your email.
- Finish connecting the provider from Connections in Settings.
Forgot the password? Select Forgot password? on that page.
Signing in with Steam
Steam doesn’t share your email address, so after your first Steam sign-in we ask you to Add your email. You need it for order updates and to keep your account safe. If that address already belongs to a PlayerBay account, we email it instructions for connecting your Steam login.
Disconnect a login
In Connections, select Disconnect next to the provider. You can remove a login as long as another way to sign in remains: another connected login, a password, or email codes to your verified address.
