Before selling on PlayerBay, make sure you understand the rules below. These rules help keep the marketplace safe, fair, and reliable for buyers and sellers.
Breaking these rules may result in listing removal, order cancellation, account restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, or withheld funds in serious cases.

Delivering Orders
Sellers are expected to deliver orders accurately, completely, and within the guaranteed delivery time shown on the listing.
| Delivery Rule | What Sellers Must Do |
|---|---|
| On-Time Delivery | Deliver orders within the guaranteed delivery time. Repeated late deliveries or failed deliveries may result in listing removal or account restrictions. |
| Late or Partial Delivery | If an order will be late or incomplete, get the buyer’s approval first through the PlayerBay order chat. Late or partial delivery without buyer approval may result in a full refund if a dispute is opened. |
| Marking Orders as Delivered | Only mark an order as delivered after it has been fully completed. Marking an order as delivered too early may make the buyer eligible for a full refund during a dispute. |
| Proof of Delivery | Upload proof when required, especially for currency, item, top-up, and boosting orders. Screenshots, videos, receipts, trade logs, or chat confirmations may help protect you during disputes. |
Initial Response Requirement for Item Orders
If an item offer has a delivery time of 1 hour or longer, sellers are required to send an initial response to the buyer within the first 30 minutes after the order is placed.
This confirms availability and reassures the buyer that the order is being handled. If the seller does not respond within the first 30 minutes, PlayerBay may begin cancelling these orders automatically.
API or automated responses without meaningful follow-up may still lead to cancellation depending on the order chat context.
What Is Prohibited
The following actions are not allowed on PlayerBay. Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
| Prohibited Action | Rule |
|---|---|
| Scamming or Fraud | Any attempt to scam, defraud, mislead, or harm buyers may result in a permanent ban. PlayerBay has zero tolerance for scams. |
| Outside Communication | Keep communication with buyers inside PlayerBay’s chat system. Sharing Discord, Skype, Telegram, email, phone numbers, or other contact details is not allowed, except when voice communication is required for certain boosting orders. |
| Advertising | Do not advertise other websites, personal shops, other marketplaces, or unrelated services. |
| External Payments | All payments must go through PlayerBay. Discussing, requesting, or arranging off-platform payment is strictly forbidden. |
| Harassment or Abuse | Treat buyers respectfully. Threats, harassment, insults, slurs, abusive language, or intimidation are not allowed, even during disputes. |
| Fraudulent Delivery Methods | Do not use delivery methods that put the buyer’s account, product, or purchase at unnecessary risk. |
Handling Disputes
If a dispute is opened, sellers must respond quickly, provide proof, and work professionally toward a resolution. Ignoring disputes may result in refunds, order cancellations, or account penalties.
| Order Type | Seller Requirement |
|---|---|
| Account Orders | Respond within 12 hours with proof, recovery assistance, replacement options, or another solution. |
| Boosting Orders | Respond within 12 hours with proof, progress updates, completion evidence, or a solution. |
| Currency Orders | Upload proof within 2 hours. If proof is not provided, the buyer may be eligible for a full refund. |
| Item Orders | Upload proof within 2 hours. If proof is not provided, the buyer may be eligible for a full refund. |
| Pending Delivery Orders | Upload proof of delivery immediately after sending currency, items, or other digital products to help prevent disputes. |
Keep all dispute communication inside the PlayerBay order chat. Clear records help the Dispute Team review the case fairly.
Feedback and Fairness
Seller behavior affects buyer trust, marketplace quality, and your long-term performance on PlayerBay.
- Respect buyer feedback: Buyer feedback should be treated seriously. PlayerBay has strict guidelines for when feedback may be adjusted or removed. You can read more here.
- Respect other sellers: Demeaning, slandering, impersonating, or targeting other sellers without basis is not allowed.
- Stay professional: Even when a buyer is upset, sellers are expected to communicate calmly and respectfully.
These rules apply across all categories, including currency, accounts, boosting, items, top-ups, and other supported product types.
Marketplace Guidelines
Marketplace rules help keep listings accurate, fair, and easy for buyers to browse.
| Guideline | Rule |
|---|---|
| Holding Funds After Fraud | If a seller is caught scamming or committing fraud, PlayerBay may hold funds for up to 30 days to repay affected buyers. Any remaining eligible funds may be withdrawn afterward. |
| No Random Listings | Lottery, raffle, mystery, or random-chance offers are not allowed. For example, listings such as “50% chance to get a rare skin” are prohibited. |
| Original Descriptions | Do not copy another seller’s full product description. Listings should include original wording, except for smurf account offers where this rule may not apply. |
| No Fake Pricing | Unrealistic, misleading, or manipulative pricing is not allowed. |
| Correct Categories | List offers in the correct game and category. Boosting services may be listed in the items section only when the main outcome of the boost is the buyer receiving items. |
| No Impersonation | Sellers may not impersonate other sellers or PlayerBay employees. Do not use another seller’s logo, branding, or confusingly similar username. |
| No PlayerBay Branding Misuse | Do not use the PlayerBay logo, branding, or name in your username, profile, listings, images, or store identity unless explicitly allowed. |
Requirements for Sellers
| Requirement | Rule |
|---|---|
| Age Requirement | You must be at least 18 years old to sell on PlayerBay. |
| One Account Per Seller | Do not operate multiple seller accounts. If you work with a team, you may share login access with trusted partners instead of creating separate accounts. |
| Verification | Sellers must complete required verification before listing products where verification is required. |
| Category Rules | Some categories have additional rules or approval requirements. Sellers are responsible for following both general and category-specific rules. |
Improving Your Listings
Clear, accurate listings help buyers understand what they are purchasing and reduce the risk of disputes or cancellations.
- Use clear titles and descriptions: Keep your offer title and description concise, accurate, and relevant to what you are selling.
- Avoid unnecessary details: Do not fill titles or descriptions with unrelated terms, exaggerated claims, or clutter.
- Use tags carefully: Tags should accurately match the product, game, platform, item type, or service being sold. Do not use unrelated tags to manipulate visibility.
- Limit repeated tags: Avoid repeating the same tag or close variation across the offer just to gain extra visibility.
- No copyrighted images: Do not use copyrighted images from game developers or other sources unless you have permission. Listings with copyrighted content may be removed.
Violations and Enforcement
PlayerBay reviews violations based on severity, seller history, buyer impact, and whether the issue appears intentional. Some violations may result in a warning or temporary restriction, while serious violations may result in immediate permanent suspension.
| Violation Type | Possible Action |
|---|---|
| Minor listing issue | Listing edit request, warning, reduced visibility, or listing removal. |
| Repeated delivery issues | Order cancellations, refunds, listing restrictions, or temporary suspension. |
| Off-platform payment requests | Immediate suspension or permanent ban depending on severity. |
| Fraud, scamming, or stolen goods | Permanent suspension, withheld funds, and repayment to affected buyers where applicable. |
| Harassment, impersonation, or marketplace abuse | Account restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. |
PlayerBay reserves the right to take stronger action depending on the severity of the violation, including listing removal, refunds, account restrictions, permanent suspension, and balance holds in confirmed policy breach cases.
The Bottom Line
Sellers are expected to deliver on time, communicate professionally, use accurate listings, keep all payments and communication on PlayerBay, and follow all category-specific rules.
Following these rules helps protect buyers, reduce disputes, and keep PlayerBay’s marketplace safe and trustworthy for everyone.
