How to change your email address
Change it in Settings under Edit Profile. Your current address approves the change first, then you confirm the new one while signed in.
Change your email in Settings: open Edit Profile, enter the new address and save. We first email your current address to approve the change. Then we send a link to the new address, which you open on the device where you’re signed in. Your current email stays active until the new one is confirmed.
Before you start
- Your account needs a password. If you sign in only with an email code or a social login, select Set password in Edit Profile first.
- You need access to both your current inbox and the new one.
Change your email
- Go to Settings and, on the General tab, select Edit Profile.
- Enter the new address in Email and save.
- Open the email we send to your current address and select Approve Email Change. On the page that opens, select Approve change.
- Open the email we then send to your new address. Open its link on the device where you’re signed in to PlayerBay, or enter its code there.
Once the new address is confirmed, it’s your sign-in and contact email. Settings shows Email Successfully Verified.
If the new-address link says “Finish where you’re signed in”
You opened it on another device or browser. Open the link again on the device where you’re signed in, or sign in there first, then open it.
If you can’t open your current inbox
The change can’t go ahead without approval from your current address. Contact support from your signed-in account and choose My account.
Before we change the address, we check it’s you. Send a selfie holding a valid ID and a piece of paper with today’s date written on it. If you’re a verified seller, we compare it with your seller verification.

Check your spam folder and that the new address is typed correctly. In Edit Profile, select Resend Email.
Do password reset links sent to my old address still work?+
No. They stop working once the change is made.
